Musician should just play music

Okay it has been about three years since I have done this. I have a life and don't have much time for writing blogs or other similar type endeavors. But I can't help it any more I have to say something about what I saw on the news.

The other day Carlos Santana was given an award in Atlanta. Santana has been a famous musician since the seventies and is arguably one of the best Guitarists of our generation he gave an acceptance speech in which he closed by saying that the people of Arizona and Georgia should be ashamed of themselves for the recent laws that have be instated allowing local law enforcement to (with probable cause) question the legal status of individuals already being detained for other reasons. This is my response to him.

Mr Santana, please keep your mouth shut and just play music. No one cares about your political views. You don't have to live here in Phoenix where every week multiple people are getting killed by illegal drug cartels smuggling drugs up from Mexico and were 4 out of the last 5 Policemen that have been killed, were killed by people that are here illegally and have standing deportation orders. Yet the ignorant Federal government including the President think its something to Joke about.

Ask the the widows of the dead policemen and the fatherless children how funny it is.
That said who really aught to be ashamed of themselves. The answer is you Mr. Santana and you Mr. Obama for opening your mouth when you don't have the intelligence to know what you are talking about.

We cannot afford to sit around and do nothing while people are literally dying in the streets. We must protect ourselves when no one else will.

We all favor immigration when those who respect this country and its laws follow them and do it legally. Its the ones that believe they aren't bound by our laws and believe that we somehow owe them something that we have a problem with.

And for the record Mr. Obama the fence is only 5% complete. I know in your world that is "nearly done" because most of your ideas are not even half baked there about 5% baked.
